Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 – 20 Input / 20 Output FireWire Audio Interface. The Focusrite Saffire PRO 40 digital recording interface offers you multilayer recording capabilities. In the process, this device gives you the ability to capture a clean and transparent sound with very little noise or distortion. Additionally, it helps you effectively produce audio sound using any compatible Macintosh or Windows audio workstation. Moreover, you can set eight different mic preamp levels for quality sound even at high gain. Two of the mic, line, or instrument inputs are installed on the front panel of the Saffire PRO 40, which also includes two independent headphone monitor outputs. This ADAT system provides you with a total of 20 inputs and 20 outputs and a unique loopback function. The microphone dynamic range is about 109dB, and the line level outputs are about 108dB.
