Mi Home Inkjet Printer is manufactured by Xiaomi in collaboration with Mijia. Under a minimalist design and a single color, white, it can be a good addition to a small office, where there is no space and the wireless functionalities that the device incorporates can be used.

It supports different sizes of paper, as well as photocopying, printing, and scanning functions in different qualities. On its front panel, it has a touch button for on and off, as well as the input and output of paper. An important aspect of this type of device is the quality of the ink, Xiaomi reports that up to 9500 pages can be printed with one of the color cartridges. These cartridges can be purchased together with the printer. If we restrict ourselves to black and white prints, the number of folios is reduced to 3200. Until the price of the cartridges in the different markets is known, it will not be possible to analyze whether these data are positive or negative. Instead of using a single CYMK cartridge and a single black cartridge, use up to four of these refills. One for each CYMK component (aka RYB, the old ‘red, yellow and blue’) and one for the black color. Perhaps because of this mechanism, the life of the color “cartridge” is much longer than that of black.
