Choosing studio headphones

Closed-back headphones (ATH-M series, AKG K371, Sennheiser HD 200 Pro) stop sound leaking into the mic. Use them for recording, podcasts and streaming.
Open-back headphones sound more natural for mixing but leak, so keep them away from live mics.
Wired, not Bluetooth, while recording: Bluetooth adds delay, so you hear yourself late.
Plug check: most studio headphones use a 3.5mm plug with a 6.35mm adapter, which fits every interface and mixer.
