DUNU DK3001 Pro

The DUNU DK3001 Pro Hi-Res beryllium 5 driver (4BA+1dynamic) hybrid earphone is expertly tuned to be the ultimate in balance between detail reproduction, soundstage ambience, and long-term approachability. Bass is accurate, yet rumbles with proper authority. Vocals are full and voluminous. harmonics glisten ever so slightly in the treble region.

The hybrid low end is anchored by a massive 13 mm dynamic driver with a beryllium-coated diaphragm, bonded on both sides via a specialized physical vapor deposition process developed in-house by our team of acoustic engineers.

Knowles corporation, the global leader in balanced armature technology, is our esteemed longtime partner in providing us with the balanced armatures responsible for the rest of the audio spectrum. The midrange and upper midrange is voiced by two custom spec balanced armature drivers, while the highs and ultra-highs are delivered by a high-performance twin supertweeter. it is this meticulous acoustic design that allows the dk-3001 pro to lead the pack for performance and value.

Precision Machined: Stainless Steel Housings

The advanced 316 stainless steel CNC process used in the DK-3001 has been further refined in this iteration of manufacture, allowing us to achieve an even more intricate level of fit and finish for the Dunu DK3001 PRO. It is now only marginally larger in size than the shells of the flagship DK-4001. In your ears, the difference can hardly be felt.

Completely Re-tuned for Approachability

Responding to extensive user feedback on the DK-3001, we sought to build on the success of our first DK series hybrid, and this meant reconfiguring the drivers.

The midrange is now voiced by not one, but two custom-spec balanced armature drivers with wholly independent tubing outputs, while the highs & ultra-highs are delivered by a twin supertweeter in the spout, for four BAs in total.

Our exclusive dual-sided coating process enables us to control the thickness and grain structure of the deposition to fine tune the sound to our liking.
