Description

With stronger sound and a bright new body Ear (3a) comes with everything you need to party. At better value than a night out. New Audio Snapshot and call recording features let you capture all the things you hear, while better Active Noise Cancellation helps you ignore the boring bits. Plus, a 42 hour battery keeps you going long after everyone else has gone home.

Party pill

Inspired by the Finish Fetish movement in LA, we designed Ear (3a) to look like a mix of shrink-wrapped material and bubbled pill packets. Adding brightness to our technical codes, it comes in four colours – Yellow, Pink, Black and White.

Control freak

Straight out the box, you can pinch the buds to play, double-pinch to skip tracks or pinch and hold to switch between Active Noise Cancellation modes. Change controls in the Nothing X app.

Last longer

With the charging case, you can listen for 42 hours without plugging in. And each bud comes with a bigger 55 mAh battery for 10 hours of play.

IP54 for dust and water

To test Ear (3a), we plugged and unplugged the charger 5,000 times and left it in 75 degree heat. And compared to Ear (a), the hinge is smoother to open.

Bluetooth 6.0

With Bluetooth 6.0, Ear (3a) stays connected in crowded wireless spaces like airports and festivals. Plus, it’s smoother and lags less for things like games.

Swap easier

Switching between phones and computers is easy with low latency, dual-device connections on Android, Windows and iOS.

More tips

Ear (3a) comes with ear tips in four sizes in liquid silicone, which means you can wear them all day long. We’ve also rethought the structure for better sound isolation.

Status update?

On the case, three new LEDs show you things like charging progress, battery life and pairing status through custom light patterns.
